I am originally from Newfoundland and Labrador, however I lived away for many years, but happily retired here a few years ago with my husband. I got into photography because it provides me with a way to slow down and really see and enjoy the beauty of the landscapes and wildlife that are all around this incredible province. I am constantly inspired to shoot, as every season the stage is changed and I am compelled to get out and try and capture the unique beauty of the moment.

I want people to see what I see through my lens and for my images to generate the same sense of awe that I experienced when I capture that amazing sunset, or the feeling of wonderment at a breaching whale, the sense of grandeur at a soaring eagle, or simply the nostalgia inspired by the picture of an old salt box house by the sea.

I love turning these moments into art, so that other people can also have the opportunity to experience what I did when I captured those images long after those moments have disappeared. I hope you enjoy looking at these images as much as I did capturing them.
